Mission Statement:
To promote, plan and implement swim team activities under the guidelines of the Chesterfield Aquatic League (CAL)

Committee Structure:
Two individuals are currently dividing their efforts, one through participation on the CRA board and the other on the CAL board.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate CAL activities with CRA schedules
  • Create a budget for the swim team with the approval of the approval of the CRA board
  • Organize a swim clinic at the YMCA prior to the swim season
  • Register swimmers and pay CAL fees
  • Maintain, prepare and disseminate swim team handbooks
  • Organize and coordinate a social calendar with the help of the Social Committee Chairperson
  • Arrange for the sizing and selling of swim team bathing suits
  • Recruit parent volunteers to assist with the swim meets
  • Check and replenish table/meet supplies
  • File with the county a “facility use form” for the banquet
  • Maintain the starting system
  • Order tents for Championships
